Thanks for reply, Remi,

It's ok for me to upgrade all things, just because there is one master and multiple slaves maintained by others. We need to persuade every guy to upgrade the os, so I need the definite proof to say: yes, we need to do that! That's all, you give me the proof, it's OK for us to upgrade to Buster.

Thanks,
David

Hello,

the goal is to drop Stretch support in LAVA 2020.02. So 2020.01 will be the last version to support both Stretch and Buster.

I cannot guarantee that using lava-master v2020.06 and lava-dispatcher v2020.01 would work. That's possible but not guaranteed.

Why upgrading the server would be easier for you than upgrading the dispatcher ?

Hello, all,

Recently I heard from somebody said, lava will drop stretch support from 2020.01 release, I didn't find related information, is it true?

I also want to know if I remain on stretch, but still use 2019.12 release just for slave, but maybe later just upgrade master to for example 2020.06 release on buster.
Will 2019.12 slave on stretch be compatible with 2020.06(Just a example version) master on buster?  Will you promise it?

Best Regards,
David
