Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I can confirm the health of Qemy Device is good and it is showing 1/1 available devices.

Hi Ankit,
what's the state and health of your QEMU device? If that's not Idle and Good, it can't take new jobs.
You can also look at the device type page, there has to be 1/1 (or more) avilable devices.

Stefan

Hi All,
I am trying to setup LAVA 2023.08 lava-server and lava-dispatcher on a single machine, I successfully installed and was able to add workers and a QEMU device.
From logs, it seems the workers are communicating with the lava server, I am trying to execute a simple QEMU sample job and it always going in the submitted state. I verified the device dictionary is correct.
As per my understanding if communication is happening between lava-server/worker then a device should be assigned that is configured on the worker, but in my case, no device is assigned to the test job and it always keeps in a submitted state.
Can someone let me know if any special settings are required for running a test job on a QEMU device? or share any docs link s to resolve this, any input will be appreciated.
My Testjob YAML:
